Work Began!
Building a website professionally isn't just about making it look nice it's a whole cycle of designing, building, and testing before anything goes live. For us, that meant starting with wireframes (basic sketches of each page) to map out where everything would go
Then moving into a working prototype once we were happy with the layout. From there, testing became a huge part of the process. For example, after building our product page, we'd click through every button and link ourselves to catch anything broken, then test the same page on a phone, a tablet, and a laptop to make sure nothing looked squished or cut off.
We'd also do "load testing" moments uploading a bunch of brush images at once to see if the page still ran smoothly or started lagging. Whenever something looked off (like text overlapping an image on smaller screens), we'd note it down, fix the code, and test that exact spot again before moving on. This back-and-forth of build → test → fix → retest happened dozens of times across every page, which is honestly why a "simple" website ends up taking months instead of days.
Building this website was a real challenge after deciding to do it ourselves especially for dad with having a shit ton of coding to do. And well, I learned web design and how to structure sites better, overall both of us gained a whole lot of new skills, lastly and together we turned a rough first prototype into a fully working site through months of testing and refining. Every page went through the same cycle: build it, click through everything to catch what broke, check how it looked on phones, tablets, and laptops, then fix and test again until it felt right. It took a while, but that's exactly why the finished result feels solid, clean, and truly ours.
We are so proud of our final work, it's hard to put the feeling into words of being and owner of something this grand,
